The West Nordic Children's Literature Prize
The prize has ben awarded every other year since in 2002. A panel of judges review nominated books from Iceland, the Faroe Islands and Greenland. The aim of the prize is to support literature in those countries and to encourage the writing of children's books. The prize is awarded during the during the West Nordic Council's annual meeting.
